Recruitment and Training Administrator

Full time | Monday to Friday

£21,000 - £23,000

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, competent, and approachable Recruitment & Training Administrator to join our small HR team based at The Crown at Woodbridge, Suffolk.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week and can offer some hybrid working too. Our hours are usually between 8:30am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday however we are flexible with when your hours are worked. Your own transport will be required for this role due to the location of some of our properties.

As our new Recruitment and Training Administrator you will have sole responsibility of all recruitment for the Company across six hotels.

You will also provide a first-class HR administration service to our employees and their managers; by undertaking a wide range of administration activities across the full employee lifecycle as well as providing administration support to our Training & Development Manager.

You will need to have exceptional attention to detail, strong IT skills and be able to manage your own workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of the role a high level of confidentiality is required at all times.

You will need to have proven experience in an administration role or similar and experience in a HR environment would be an advantage, however full training will be provided for this role.

The main tasks will include:

  • Main contact for all recruitment within the Company
  • Advertise all vacancies within the hotels, internally and externally as necessary and ensuring this is kept up to date.
  • Delivery of HR input at Company Induction for all new starters
  • Accurate and timely completion of all HR administration for the group, including (but not limited to) starters and leavers, absence records and probation reviews.
  • Process applications, liaising with recruiting managers and tracking progress of all applications and feeding back to applicants.
  • Manage administration for training and development, including co-ordinating new starter inductions and running full administration of our training platform.
  • Check all eligibility to work criteria are met and that references are requested and received for employees where required.
