THE HOTEL FOLK BENEFITS
On joining The Hotel Folk, you will start on the national minimum wage for your age. If you are aged 16 to 20 you will move to £8.00 per hour once you have completed your probation. If you are aged over 21 you will move to £10.42 per hour upon completion of your probation.
Some roles across the organisation earn higher rates of pay so please check each individual vacancy for the rate of pay relevant to each role.

Folk members can enjoy a 50% discount on food for yourself and up to three guests when dining in any of The Hotel Folk's restaurants.

Stay the night in any of The Hotel Folk's hotels on a Bed and Breakfast basis for only £50 per room per night Sunday to Thursday, or £75 per room per night on a Friday or Saturday.
Maximum of two guests per room, max stay on two-nights with second night charged at 50%.
Family members can enjoy a discount of up to 50% off room rate at time of booking on first night of their stay.

Folk can enjoy free golf at Thorpeness Golf Club, with up to three guests each able to enjoy 50% off their green fee.
Family members can invite up to three guests to play golf, each player to enjoy 50% off their green fee.
Subject to availability, available after one month of service, one tee time per day, bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance.
Protecting your health
We provide you with a health benefit scheme through ‘Simply Health’. You are automatically signed up for the scheme after one years’ service with The Hotel Folk. Includes instant access to telephone/online GP and prescriptions, cash back on optician, physiotherapy, dental appointments and more.

If you earn more than £10,000 per year and are aged 22 - 66 (current pension age ad of May 2023) you will automatically be enrolled in our workplace pension scheme 'NOW' after three months employment.
