Part-Time Restaurant Supervisor at The Crown and Castle Hotel in Orford

The Hotel Folk have a new and exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our friendly team based at The Crown and Castle, Orford. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will support and lead our team in ensuring we deliver our ‘blow your socks-off’ hospitality experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in a food and beverage setting and experience at a supervisor/management level.

This role will be part-time for 3-4 evenings per week 5.30-10.30pm including the weekends, and also 1-9pm on Sundays.

Flexibility for working shifts is essential.

 

Key Duties of a Restaurant Supervisor include:
  • To lead the restaurant service and ensure a smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

  • To manage, motivate and support the team, optimising all opportunities to increase food and liquor sales and profit

  • Encourage team members to increase sales by ensuring that they know how to add on sales and that they have up-to-date product knowledge

  • Ensure that guest and customer requests are always responded to courteously and efficiently.

  • Monitor and evaluate complaints and take preventive/corrective action or make recommendations to improve the situation.

  • Undertake Duty management responsibilities on a rota basis
