Kitchen Porter Vacancy at The Crown at Woodbridge
We are seeking a passionate person to join our team as a Kitchen Porter at The Crown at Woodbridge. As a Kitchen Porter you will work as a member of the kitchen team ensuring that all service areas are kept clean and clear of rubbish at all times. You will also have the opportunity to support the chefs with basic food preparation if you are willing to expand your skills. Training will be provided.
We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Your key tasks as a Kitchen Porter:
- Ensure that all washing up has been done by the time the shift ends
- Help to receive deliveries.
- Help to store food and supplies.
- Ensure that the Kitchen retains its top hygiene rating, by keeping areas clean and tidy
- Ensure that service entrances to the kitchen are kept tidy and rubbish-free.
We pay national minimum wage dependant on your age upon joining the company however, you will be given a tailored training programme, so you are clear on what’s expected of you.
Should you be aged 17 or under your pay could increase to £8.00 per hour once you have completed your training plan and passed your probation.
