Bar Manager at The Crown at Woodbridge
Hourly pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
The Hotel Folk are currently looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join their team at The Crown at Woodbridge, Suffolk.
As a Bar Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing stock control, ordering, stock taking, bar hygiene, cellar management, cocktail training, and wine knowledge. You will also be required to undertake duty management responsibilities as required.
We are able to guarantee a minimum of 32 hours each week. Although the hours of work are variable week to week, you will be required to work a mixture of day shifts, evenings, and weekends on a rota basis.

Overall Job Purpose:
- To manage and maintain the bar and bar areas to achieve the highest possible standards of service and to maximise sales.
- Have Cocktail making experience.
- Ensure that all orders for drinks are prepared accurately, efficiently and that they are properly recorded and charged.
- Ensure that all staff are fully trained in all bar duties.
- Be accountable for stock levels and for carrying out stocktakes.
- Be accountable for all bar cash and takings, including end-of-day reconciliation.
- Achieve budgeted beverage revenues
- Maintain correct Liquor margins
- Undertake duty management shifts as and when required
