Thorpeness Golf Club are excited to be recruiting a enthusiastic Greenkeeper to join their existing team of Greenkeeping enthusiasts.

One of England’s Top 100 Courses, Thorpeness golf club was founded in 1922 and to this day prides itself on being an outstanding year-round golf venue

The fantastically picturesque maritime heathland course lined with diverse tree species, bracken, heather and whins is renowned for its James Braid layout. The challenging course has been enjoyed by all standards of golfer for generations - from the golfing great to the enthusiastic novice.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable Greenkeeper to join our highly valued greenkeeping team at Thorpeness Golf club

 

You will have:

  • Greenkeeping NVQ 2/3

  • PA1, PA6 spraying certificates

  • Chainsaw certificate

  • Full driving licence

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • The ability to follow instructions or work on your own initiative, as appropriate

  • The following would be advantageous

  • Good working knowledge of machinery and maintenance

  • PA2 spraying certificate

 

As a Greenkeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. Your attention to detail and ability to work with hand tools and power equipment will contribute to the overall beauty of our grounds.
