Weavers' House Spa are looking for someone who can help in leading our spa team under the management of our Spa Director and oversee the spa operation in their absence.

Ideally this person should have previous spa experience, a proven record with outstanding guest service, a strong passion for the spa industry and wish to progress into spa management. Our preference would be a NVQ 2 & 3 or equivalent, along with 2 years or more in a senior leadership role in a spa.

Job Description

  • Firm but fair leadership of the team for optimum performance and quality guest service.
  • Oversee the spa operation in absence of the Spa Director, including and not limited to: opening and closing procedures, health and safety protocol, company takings/finances, team wellbeing/health, guest service and recovery, spa correspondence, stock management and reporting any issues to the General Manager in the Spa Directors absence.
  • Amplify and train the team, performance manage team in line with business needs, by leading by example and actively coaching the team.
  • Oversee Spa Membership and ensure that all members are processed, remittance balanced via bacs, and members records/ correspondence updated.
  • Ensure that all guest records are updated on the appropriate spa software and inline with the company GDPR policy.
  • Obtain acute knowledge of services, products, memberships and promotions for the spa and ensure effortless and professional promotion.
  • Contribute sales and marketing ideas and strategy to the Spa Director with knowledge of the guests and emerging patterns and/or requests for services.
  • Actively participate in all health and safety checks throughout the business, and ensure that all records, accident forms, risk assessments and COSHH records are up to date for the operation in conjunction with the Spa Director.
  • Confidently and professionally handle guest feedback and promote service recovery for all guests in the spa within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Perform Duty Management for The Swan Hotel and Spa when requested.
  • Manage stock levels, complete monthly stock counts and orders whilst liaising with the Spa Director.
  • Manage the spa schedule, therapist’s columns alongside the spa rota to best amplify business and availability, whilst complying with company staff cost percentage weekly.
  • Ensure the spa schedule is planned 3 months in advance and available on the spa software
  • Ensure that the company rota, alongside the revenue forecast is on the rota ready software 2 weeks in advance every Monday under the supervision and sign off with the Spa Director.
  • Train and performance manage new spa folk into the team through the induction and training program, reporting feedback and suggestions to the Spa Director on progress.
  • Complete annual reviews of team’s performance by 1-1 means inline with company values and processes.

Family members can invite up to three guests to play golf, each player to enjoy 50% off their green fee. Subject to availability, available after one month of service, one tee time per day, bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance.

Holiday - Up to 33 days of annual leave
