The Hotel Folk are currently looking for a Hard working Head Housekeeper to join their friendly team based at The Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh. Up to £12.20 ph

This is a full-time role requiring 30 hours per week and will involve working on a rota basis which will include weekend work.

As our Housekeeping Manager you will work with our Services and Facilities Manager to manage and motivate the housekeeping team and ensure that all general and guest rooms are presented and serviced to the highest possible standard at all times.

Key duties as a Head Housekeeper:

  • Carry out daily inspections of all bedrooms and public areas to ensure cleaning standards are acceptable
  • Ensure that all housekeeping procedures are carried out correctly and to the required standard by all housekeeping staff
  • Communicate effectively with all team members so that everyone is aware of team goals
  • Ensure that linen supplies are controlled. Check linen received, return any items that are not acceptable
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and that invoices are sent to the Accounts department
