Assistant Hotel Manager at The Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year - dependant on experience

The Hotel Folk have a unique opportunity for an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our friendly team at The Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh.

What we are looking for:

You will need proven experience of working in a Food and Beverage environment, along with great interpersonal skills to successfully manage our folk, deal with suppliers and provide customers with a pleasant stay. Working with people also requires strong communication skills, including the ability to actively listen to others and clearly verbalise information and ideas.

The Assistant Hotel Manager role involves a wide range of duties that include event planning, financial management and guest services.

• Overseeing events, such as weddings or corporate meetings and ensuring that customers are satisfied. You will need to have great attention to detail and be very organised.
• Working closely with the Hotel Manager to run day-to-day operations
• Recruiting, training and managing our hotel folk team.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws, and ensuring that the necessary security is in place.
• Implementing and reviewing standard operating procedures to continuously improve a business.
• Proactively seeking opportunities and ways to maximise revenue and develop service delivery.
