Group Chef vacancy at The Hotel Folk in Suffolk
Award-winning hospitality experts, The Hotel Folk, are looking for an exceptional Roaming Chef to support their group of six hotels located in the picturesque Suffolk countryside and coastal area.
Salary | up to £38,000 pa
As Roaming Chef you will be required to support the teams in each of The Hotel Folk's various hotel kitchens, providing senior support within the kitchens across the group, deputising for the Head Chef and/or adding strength to the kitchen brigade, covering holiday, staff shortages and high demand periods.

Job requirements:
- Have a minimum 3 years' previous experience at a minimum Sous Chef level role in a busy restaurant environment.
- Have the ability to step into a Head Chef role to cover absences and adapt well in different kitchen environments.
- Be able to work flexibly between locations – working shifts, weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Possess a full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between properties.
- Be happy to travel between all our properties from in Aldeburgh in the East to Lavenham in the South - all within commuting distance in the Suffolk Coastal area.
