Salary: Up to £27,000 a year - Dependant on Experience​​

The Hotel Folk are looking for a competent, organised and Friendly Front of House Manager to join our growing team at The White Lion Hotel, Aldeburgh.

A successful candidate will need to have proven experience in running a front of house team and experience in a hospitality environment. You will be Accountable for the day-to-day management of the reception and maintenance team, and also be responsible for the standards of presentation in all front of house areas whilst providing guests with a warm and professional welcome. 

This is a full-time role and will require weekend and evening work which will be on a rota basis.

Key tasks as a Front of House Manager include:

  • Ensure that the reception service is always appropriately covered including manage the teams holiday, leave and ensuring rotas are prepared in advance
  • Undertake Duty Management responsibilities on a rota basis and maintain a front of house presence.
  • Ensure that all Reception and Maintenance operations and procedures are carried out in accordance with the procedures manual and to the required standard.
  • Keep a record, and communicate all guest feedback from comment cards, letters and third party review sites.
