Vacancy for: HR Advisor
We are looking for a part time HR Advisor to join our team and operate as first line HR support in relation to ER issues. You will deliver a professional and responsive HR service to the organisation providing advice and guidance to managers on all operational HR matters.
As the only HR Advisor in the team you will work closely with the Head of HR to ensure that ER matters are progressed in a supportive, fair and expedient fashion. You will work autonomously, asking for guidance and input when required, deliver to agreed deadlines and be happy to guide and support the HR Assistant when required. The role will require you to:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process within our six properties.
- Build effective partnering relationships with Hotel Managers and Heads of Departments to ensure HR best practice is applied consistently across all hotels.
- A key focus of this role is to ensure the continued accuracy, improvement and use of Procedures and Policies within the group, so you must have a good eye for detail and knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel), ideally previous experience of using an HR Information System.
The successful candidate will ideally hold CIPD Level 5 qualification or have the equivalent experience and will have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
You will work 3 or 4 days a week, the days and hours can be mutually agreed. The HR team are based at Thorpeness, however you will need to be able to travel to any of the 6 hotels within the group when required. Job description available on request.
